Local artist Robert Vargas did some new work in the Arts District over the last week. You can check it out yourself at 7th & Mateo St. He was nice enough to do a video interview with me yesterday after finishing “Four the greater good.” Nelson Mandela, Sitting Bull, Bruce Lee & Malcolm X. You can find that here, https://www.la-artsdistrict.com/robertvargas.html I also went on a mission sk8ing around DTLA yesterday to snap some photos of some of his other work in our area. I posted the photos to his page along with a map of where you can find each work. I’ve also included his social media info if you want to follow him or reach out to him. I’ll be keeping this page up to date for the foreseeable future because I know he has other projects lined up and coming soon.
